Wil County Threshermens

Will County Threshermen’s Association

The Will County Threshermen’s Association, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to preserving America's agricultural legacy. Founded in 1962 by the visionary Ray Kestel, we trace our roots to an annual Threshing Bee Show that has evolved into a thriving community organization.

Step into history at our annual late-July show near Manhattan, IL, featuring antique engines, steam engines, tractors, and captivating demonstrations. Our commitment to agricultural heritage is showcased through Tractor Pulls, a daily Parade of Power, fieldwork demonstrations, and various exhibits. Beyond machinery, enjoy family-friendly activities, kid's activities, petting zoo, magician, live music, craft and flea market, food vendors, a civil war living history camp, and more!

From our humble beginnings at the Ed Kestel Farm to our present home on the Steve Spiess Farm since 2018, our journey reflects a dedication to preserving old-time agricultural methods. Achieving 501(c)(3) status in 2014, we actively engage with the community, educate future generations, and safeguard our agricultural legacy.

Join us in celebrating our rich history and contributing to the enduring legacy of American agriculture at the Will County Threshermen’s Association. Embrace the past, cultivate the future.
