This year, there were about 60-70 guests in attendance at the Chamber's Holiday Party held on Thursday, December 10 from 5-8pm at Terry's Ford of Peotone. All Peotone area businesses were invited and encouraged to attend, allowing them the opportunity to meet the Chamber and ask any questions about membership.
The event featured appetizer's from local businesses, Country Corner Cafe, Fire Pit Bar and Grill, Sammy's Pizza and Tony's Pizza. It is always a priority of the Chamber to purchase as many items and supplies as possible form our local businesses to help support the Community.
There was a drop off station set up for guests to donate canned food items which would be delivered to Helping Hands Food Pantry of Peotone.
Due to the PHS band and choir being fully booked, the Chamber was fortunate to have the pleasure of entertainment provided by the Manteno High School Madrigals Choir along with the Manteno Junior High School Jazz Cats Band. Both performances were breathtaking and the Chamber would like to thank both organizations.
The Chamber would also like to thank our gracious host, Terry's Ford of Peotone, not only for the accommodations, but also for the generous contribution to the festivities and for providing spectacular gifts which were raffled off. Dave Corradino, Vice President of Terry's Ford, and Rich Sheridan, General Manager of Terry's Ford, (both Chamber Board of Director's), helped Chamber Executive Director, Jody Thatcher, plan and organize the event along with help from all of the Terry's Ford employees.
